Do not ask users to compare models during setup; they can change the default later. For a later change, call `list_workspace_models` when needed, and write `provider` only when `provider_required` is true.

Cancel the current attempt of a workflow run. expected_attempt is required and protects against cancelling a newer attempt. A retry after a successful cancel returns run-already-finished with details.status; cancelled means the requested outcome already holds, while another terminal status means the run finished before cancellation.

Rerun a terminal workflow run. expected_attempt is required and identifies the source attempt; mode is required and must be all or failed. If a retry after success returns attempt-mismatch with details.current_attempt, the rerun already happened. Do not retry based only on run-not-terminal because the new attempt can finish before the retry. When configured, run_url is a link for the user to follow the run.

Start a workflow from its manual trigger. Supply idempotency_key whenever this call may be retried. The gateway fingerprints the grant, key, definition, and canonical inputs: the same key and request returns the existing run with deduplicated true, while a different definition or inputs starts a new run. A retry without a key can start a second run. When configured, run_url is a link for the user to follow the run.

Check or start a development run from local YAML content or a repository ref. Supply project_id, config_path, trigger, and content, ref, or both; commit requires ref. To run local action code, add one actions entry per uses path with every file under that action directory, except node_modules, .git, *.test.*, *.spec.*, and git-ignored files. An uploaded directory replaces the ref's copy completely, so a file left out does not exist in the run; actions not uploaded are read from the ref. content and all action files share a 1 MiB limit. Only manual triggers accept inputs. Integration triggers require replay_event_id for real runs; omit it for manual and cron triggers. With dry_run: true, a shape check can omit replay_event_id and the result has check_passed and event_checked but no run_id. Without dry_run, it starts a real run and returns run_id and run_url when configured. Results include the resolved commit and may include ref and warnings.

Direct reads resolve the latest attempt when omitted; failed-only reads select at most ten attempts in deterministic workflow order and split the 64 KiB content budget evenly across sections.
