# Self-Hosting Shipfox on AWS

This guide will cover a reference deployment of the Shipfox control plane on AWS,
including RDS for PostgreSQL, S3 for object storage, a Temporal option, and running
the API, dashboard, and runners on container compute (ECS or EKS).

In the meantime, follow the platform-agnostic [Self-Hosting](/installation/self-hosting)
guide — its external-service requirements map directly onto AWS managed services (RDS,
S3, and Temporal Cloud or a self-managed cluster).
